Despite thorough research and careful fact-checking, errors may occasionally occur. When they do, we are committed to correcting them promptly, transparently, and unreservedly.
1. How We Handle Corrections
When an error of fact is brought to our attention:
- Verification: An editor reviews the claim against reputable primary sources to confirm the inaccuracy.
- Immediate Revision: The article is promptly updated with the correct factual information.
- Transparent Disclosure:
- For substantive factual errors, an editor’s note is appended at the top or bottom of the post specifying what was modified, the nature of the error, and the date of correction.
- Example Note: “Correction (September 15, 2026): An earlier version of this article misstated the release year of the referenced feature. It has been updated to 2024.”
- Minor Edits: Corrections for obvious typographical errors, punctuation, or minor formatting that do not change the factual meaning of the text are updated without a formal correction note.
2. Clarifications vs. Corrections
- Corrections: Applied when factual statements, names, dates, figures, or attributions are verified to be inaccurate.
- Clarifications: Applied when the published information is factually accurate, but the wording may have caused unintentional confusion or could benefit from additional context. Clarifications are noted clearly when applied.
3. Retractions & Removal
Articles are rarely removed entirely from Desixm. However, in extraordinary circumstances where an article is found to have breached our standards of originality, legal rights, or foundational accuracy beyond repair, an editorial retraction note will be published explaining the removal.
4. How to Submit a Correction
We welcome reports of errors from our readers, subject-matter experts, and organizations.
To report an error:

- Subject: “Correction: [Article Title or URL]”
- Body: Please provide the exact text you believe is erroneous, the proposed correction, and credible reference links or supporting documentation.
Our editorial desk reviews all incoming correction notices within 24–48 hours.
